With nearly two decades of experience in Marketing and PR, Marta has spent the last 12 years working for the Spanish branch of IG, first as Marketing Manager and then as Head of Spain and Portugal. Key Responsibilities included setting the strategy, business goals and target achievement; supervising Marketing, Sales and Market Strategy departments; and Institutional Relations with top level financial institutions as well as the regulator in Spain, CNMV. More recently, she was appointed Head of European Marketing where she defines the regional marketing strategy and executes the regional marketing initiatives and plans for IG Europe.
Marta holds a Degree in Journalism by Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Postgraduate course on Digital Marketing and Business Digitalization by IE Business School and a Postgraduate course on Business Communication by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is passionate about supporting and empowering women in the workplace and successfully launched a mentoring program for women as part of the activity program of IG Women’s Network, where she joined the Committee for 2 years.
