Once in your very same shoes, Founder, Payal Raina, looked around and saw a dire need for a FinTech marketing space that brought professionals together. That’s why she created FinTech Marketing with the mission of simplifying the FinTech complexity for B2B marketers to help them excel in their career goals both personally and professionally.
Payal’s story is one of working in marketing for nearly two decades, for global brands like Microsoft, General Electric Capital Solutions, Barclays Bank (to name a few) in Europe and North America, and along the way she noticed some unconventional truths about marketing within the technology and financial sector. Firstly, the fast-paced nature of the FinTech market landscape and secondly, working in a regulated environment added a huge level of complexity to a marketer’s role when trying to sell financial and tech products – which is very different from a traditional B2B marketing role.
For a FinTech marketer it takes a huge amount of time, effort, and dependencies on external agencies to gather the right tools, insights, and inspiration to develop the right strategy fit for marketing purposes.
